Any large undertaking begins with a concept. This project set us an unusual task: to plan the refurbishment of an existing five-storey shopping centre and then fill it with delicatessens, bars, cafés and restaurants across different price segments, zoned floor by floor.
The concept took into account the economics of the construction works and specialist equipment, and included an analysis of the need for a building with such a function in that particular district of Shanghai.
Work on the concept was carried out in coordination with such important names in the restaurant business as Novikov, Culinaryon, Princi and Cipriani.
