Hurston House
Hurston House stands in Kingston upon Thames, one of the largest suburbs of Greater London, 16 km south-west of Charing Cross station. On Stock Road, beside the Coombe Wood golf club, rises a mansion of 1,897 square metres with indoor and outdoor pools, grounds of more than 1,350 square metres and a guest house by the pool.
Notably, in London design is not confined to the client’s own subjective notion of beauty: it is a matter of public interest.
The concept design was approved by the owner’s eight neighbours.
